Admission Guidelines
The admission process at Jai Bharat public School is designed to ensure fair, transparent, and student-friendly entry into the school system. Admissions are granted based on Transfer Certificate (TC) and other required documents, as per the following guidelines:
Direct Admission (Without Entrance Test)
The following categories of students may be admitted without an entrance test:
- Children who are transferred on a Pass/Promoted TC from another school between 01 April to 31 July.
- Children who have completed at least 10 academic months in another APS/KV and are seeking admission after 31 July.
An evaluation test may be conducted for academic assessment and appropriate class placement. However, this will not be considered an admission test. Eligible students will be allowed to attend classes within 48 hours of reporting to the school.

Documents Required at the Time of Admission
- Original Transfer Certificate (TC) duly countersigned by the appropriate authority (District Education Officer), except for APS/KV students
- Progress Report of the last school attended along with Character Certificate
- Serving Defence Personnel Certificate (if applicable)
- Dependency Certificate (for children of serving personnel)
- CBSE Registration details for Class X admissions (Class IX record)
- Four recent passport-size photographs
Age Criteria for Admission
Age will be calculated as on 31st March of the academic year in which admission is sought:

Entrance Test Guidelines
All students not covered under direct admission categories, including Army wards, will be required to appear for an entrance test.
- The Principal reserves the right to conduct the admission test and decide class placement.
- The Principal’s decision regarding admission and class allocation shall be final.
- The test level will be based on the previous class annual syllabus.
- No child of serving Army personnel or widows will be denied admission; placement will be decided appropriately by the Principal.
- Students may attend classes based on TC, while final admission confirmation will be completed within 10 days of reporting.
- Admission tests are conducted every Tuesday and Friday, with results declared the next day.
- A retest may be conducted after 7 days, if required.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 33%
